Already on 2012!

Wow! We can’t believe we are in 2012 already! I know I promised to keep up better with my blog this year ... time has  been going by fast, so what has the Christensen Family had been up to! Well, we had a pretty good holiday season a very relaxing and enjoyable time at home. We had Amy come to spend New Year’s Eve at our house wish she would have stayed longer. At least until Gordon was back from Germany. January has been a pretty busy month with kids back at school and Gordon being gone so much! That makes it almost feel like I am raising our kids on my own =) but it also reminds me of how much he does to help with the kids when he is at home. Before the kids started school we went to the national Aquarium we had a great time, my girls ended up going to speak to the dolphins in the dolphins’ show, they really liked it and we thought it was pretty neat that they picked our two girls to do it!

We also had Blake, Liesel and Collin come to celebrate for Blake’s birthday at our place. We had a great dinner then they went home to had his real party,  it’s been nice to have them live close by.

February is a month to embrace because our precious and brave little girl “Did it”. She is done with this phase of our life….and hope, pray and trust that it will be the end. I can’t believe how much this little girl has endured in her short life and how well has she responded to this trial, without a doubt I know God has his arms around her….her drugs and medications that she had received had so many side effects and possible long effects that it tears me apart just to know and see her going thru this. We Praise the Lord for keeping Kamillah safe all this time. She truly is doing so well almost like any other kid of her age, we feel so blessed for it. We are also so grateful for Kamillah’s siblings they are awesome kids! Because having a baby sister going thru this it has changed their lives too. We are very proud of them for helping so much at home and understanding why we need to be at the hospital instead of swimming lessons, even though we pretty much had kept our normal life because having someone diagnosed with a disease like this it does not mean you can’t have a normal life!

We had a pretty good saint Valentine party to celebrate the last day of chemo and we had a little party with the nurses at the hospital as well.

Well, that is all for now... just some fun pictures of some things we been up to =)
