Have faith, have hope .....serve others on the way.

It’s been a while since I blogged, maybe way too LONG!!

Life seems to be too busy sometimes, but reality is there is no time to do everything!! So my efforts have been focused on just spending time with the family. I love spending time with each of my kids, it helps me understand their stages and phases that they may be experiencing at the time.

This last weekend, I had the amazing opportunity to share some wonderful time with my daughter Kristina. We had two wonderful nights doing so many fun things. I hope that one day she will look back and cherish those moments that we had. Like singing through the winding roads up in the mountains =) I really don’t understand how in the world it is that we came across some roads so narrow and curved and being a two way road still!! Italy tends to make our experiences more enjoyable ;)

Our ski trip was organized by our troop #69 of the Girls Scouts Overseas. So happy to be part of this program , yes I know I said this before many times! We have been blessed with an amazing leadership, and I am happy to be part of it. Yay!!

One reason, I wanted to help co-lead the Junior troop that Kristy is part of because I wanted to bond and share more time with her. I am happy that it has served its purpose. I love the Girl Scout program!! It truly teaches the girls a lot of different skills and helps them in their development in so many areas.

Anyway, this was Kristy’s first time skiing. We have gone sledding before and she had tried skiing very little but never with a formal instructor. She is always so brave and determined. Kristy is a girl of great courage just like our ~ Unicorn crest symbolizes “Courage and beauty”. All girls can be courageous to try new things if they are engaged but more important encouraged to participate.
Kristy and I had a very fun time, but more important we survived our “first” ski trip!

I have to mention Gordon for staying home and taking care of the other bunch and the house. Yes, he did all the laundry!! While I was gone, yay!! It always makes you feel better when you come to a clean house after a trip! =) We are so grateful for daddy for being a great father and husband on supporting the family to take those opportunities and embrace them when possible. Well, hope I don’t get out of the loop and forget to write more in my blog. There are so many great events coming up that I hope to write about them but for now enjoy some of the fun pictures from our ski trip!
And the adventure begins...
