We try to do a family day every Monday. Sometimes, we go places and do something fun other times we stay home and have a little lesson about the teachings of Jesus Christ or anything that could improve or is needed for our family to grow spiritually. We used to bake cookies almost every family night but now we are trying to eat healthy so now instead of the cookies or cake we make a fruit salad or a fruit smoothie. There is a different or what is good (cookies) and what is better (fruit) =) Sometimes we don’t have the time to do it but enlist we do something with the family ones a week.
Its very fun taking the kids places. They like to explore at the zoo, the aquarium, walking thru the forest finding bugs, etc… They have so many question about nature, sometime I can’t find an answer for them =) it’s a joy see them want to learn about what is in front of them and they have a great imagination about all of it. We even had been hunting for big foot but not luck so far!
Now, that the kids are back in school. I hope to keep up better with the family blog.
