We had a fabulous time during spring break despite the fact that our beautiful sweet angel has a fracture on her leg! "It takes more than a cast" to make us change our plans, and WE know this too well. So we appreciate every day and live in the moment is what is important to us =). I am thankful for being able to create fun memories for the kids! And, I am SO grateful we made it home safe and sound!! It was great to continue with our spring tradition of going camping! We sure missed daddy and wish he could have been here with us. He is away TDY for few days. I miss him because he could have HELPED me carry Kamillah ;) and, people would not be look at me like “Is she by herself with four kids?” I had a few people ask me "Are they all yours?" I am proud to say yes. I am a very awesome mom, I think! And, Strong too. Yes, it wasn't so easy to travel by myself because I don't really like to drive but it was worth it! The children and I had a few days to bond.

We saw so many things, from the beautiful sightseeing of Piemomente to the corner of Portofino. LOVE visiting cities that are less known tourist areas by Americans, but they have lots of history!

We stopped on the way to Torino in the city of Alba , this city is very small but has a very unique authenticity and has an underground Roman city that Archeologist still are working on it. Also, it is where the famous Ferrero Rocher chocolate was created and is consider the Land of Nutella. Alba is also famous worldwide for its white truffles and its annual Truffle Festival. What is a “truffle”? It is a kind of condiment and very exquisite and expensive used in French and Italy and it grows from roots of several trees.

We also, visited the city of Genova and had the opportunity to visit the house of Cristopher Columbus and tour around the city. The girls did it on roller skates and Kenny on his bike! It was fun and kind of interesting too! =) Then, after the beach and visiting some of the cities, we returned to our little mobile home to cook dinner and cook Smores, yay!! Kids favorite things to do during camping, I swear this is the only reason why they want to go camping.

I think, the kids enjoyed more relaxing at the beach on a beautiful sunny spring day. While it is awesome seeing new places and visiting new cities, it is more important to have time to enjoy a few days relaxing and making good lasting memories for the children. The thing that matters most to them at this age is just playing! So is that why we love going camping during Spring Break the weather is perfect to travel and there is not that many people camping!!.

We also visited the Aquarium in Genova and it claims to be the biggest in Europe. It was very clever and absolutely was worth the visit. At first I was kind of unsure what to expect because the location wasn't what I expected. But, it definitely has more things to see than the aquarium in Livorno by far.

Our little camp site was looking at the Italian Riviera of Liguria. beautiful view and very peaceful!

We would like explore all of Italy well before we leave and I am happy to know we have been accomplishing that!

The kids helped with some of the pictures, enjoy!
